Children and adolescents are unique in their developmental, behavioural, and emotional stages, and when faced with complex issues, they may be overwhelmed and find it challenging to comprehend. Over the years, I have worked one-on-one with children and adolescents in various settings. I have learned that patience is key and strive to hold a safe space. I believe in building trust, providing compassion, dedication, and a warm environment to help clients reach their goals. I am pursuing my Master of Psychology through Adler Graduate Professional School and working as a practicum student under the supervision of Dr. Nadine Mourad. I hold a BA Honors degree in Psychology and a minor in Child, Youth, and Family Studies from the University of Guelph. With a strong client-centred approach, I am committed to supporting clients’ journeys as they unravel their problems, overcome challenges, and explore their capabilities. Creating a personal connection with each client is essential in developing a therapeutic relationship where they feel understood and cared for.
