Biography
I’m a registered behaviour analyst with a dedicated focus on working with youth who have autism spectrum disorder. One common challenge that families face is their child’s difficulty with social interactions, which can impact their ability to form relationships and engage in daily activities. For example, a child might struggle with initiating conversations and understanding social cues. To address this, I develop tailored behavioural interventions that focus on enhancing communication skills and social interactions. By implementing these strategies, we can significantly improve the child’s ability to connect with others, ultimately fostering more meaningful relationships and a greater sense of inclusion.
With a Master’s degree and six years of experience in applied behaviour analysis, I am registered with both the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board and the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. My expertise lies in caregiver-mediated treatment, which empowers families to support their child’s development effectively. I also have a special interest in speech and communication skills, striving to help individuals express themselves more clearly and confidently.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy hiking, camping, and travelling. These activities help me unwind and stay inspired, bringing a balanced perspective to my work and life.
