The 6-week Mindful Living Program involves the practice of meditation and mindful activities, experiential exercises, group discussions, and home practices. Additionally, each session explores one theme so that participants can focus on one topic at a time. Participants learn to acquire skills to bring mindfulness into their daily lives.

Learn about the benefits of meditation, and learn how mindfulness meditation is a workout for the brain.

The focus of this program is on the practice of meditation and educating participants on its benefits. These benefits include better managing emotions, calming the mind, and living in the present moment. Additionally, it has been demonstrated that meditation helps individuals better cope with anxiety, depression, stress, and chronic pain, as well as improve interpersonal relationships.

During the classes, participants are guided through a variety of meditations and encouraged to talk about their experiences.

In fact, bringing mindfulness into our daily lives helps us turn negative emotions such as frustration, impatience, and anger around and allows us to live a happier, more peaceful, energized, and enthusiastic life.

Participants of the Mindful living Program learn to:

    • Communicate better with loved ones
    • Live and savor in the present moment
    • Be kinder to themselves and others
    • Change unwanted habits
    • Improve focus and concentration
    • Learn to manage and release stress with mindfulness

The total cost for the 6-week Mindfulness Living Program is $500

*Covered by most insurance plans; Program is designed and run by our clinical psychologist

To Register

The sessions will be facilitated by Dr. Silvina Galperin, Psychologist & Jessica Israelstam, RP (Qualifying).

The sessions will begin on November 17, 2020, occurring weekly from 5:30-6:45pm.
