Dr. Hadley Koltun specializes in the assessment of children and adolescents but also enjoys working with adults. He completed his Bachelors of Science (Honours) at York University and both his Masters of Arts and Doctorate in the School and Child Clinical Program at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto (OISE/UofT). He has strong training in both research and clinical interventions throughout his academic career. He has experience conducting comprehensive psychological assessments in children, adolescents and adults for a variety of educational/learning concerns as well as mental health concerns. Dr. Koltun has training and experience in working with learning disabilities, ADHD, intellectual/developmental disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). He also has training and experience working with anxiety, mood issues and emotional dysregulation. He works with a trauma informed orientation when appropriate.

Dr. Koltun’s working experience includes a community mental health program in Northern Ontario (North of Superior Programs). He completed pre-doctoral practicums at the Whitby Psychiatric Hospital (now Ontario Shores), Scarborough Board of Education (Toronto District School Board), and the psychology department at the Lakeridge Health Hospital in Oshawa, Ontario, as well as his residency at the Hincks-Dellcrest Centre (the SickKids Community Mental Health Program). He worked at JVS Toronto for over fifteen years as a psychologist conducting psychoeducational assessments for children, adolescents and adult as well as providing counselling and consulting.

He strongly adheres to a strength-based model of assessment and intervention.

Dr. Koltun has also been involved in both supervision and mentoring psychology students and clinicians proceeding towards registration as psychologists or psychological associates. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Autism Ontario. Dr. Koltun has been a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario since 2007.

In his spare time, Dr. Koltun enjoys travelling, reading, and attending concerts and theatre.
