Hello and welcome. I’m a clinical and counselling psychologist and I’ve been with CBT Psychology since 2015. I am absolutely fascinated by people’s resilience and their willingness to courageously glance inward in an attempt to improve their lives and themselves.
I help individuals who struggle with difficulty regulating their emotions, feelings of sadness and anxiety, sleep problems, and symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder. I also assist those who have experienced trauma, have run into relationship difficulties, or struggle with self-critical thoughts and would like to feel better about themselves.
Rather than cheerleading you from afar, I will join you by giving my best effort to fully understand what it is like for you to be in that challenging place, and from there we will work together at emerging more grounded, more empowered, and happier.
I am humbled by people’s trust when they open up and share their vulnerabilities, and I most certainly refrain from judgment when clients share with me a glimpse of their darkness, which we all possess.
I believe that while certain behaviours, thoughts, or attitudes may need to be changed, an equally important part of therapy work is learning to accept oneself, including one’s supposed flaws and quirks, as well as developing self-compassion.
I welcome the opportunity to join you on this journey and I hope you accept my invitation.
