My name is Erica and I look forward to meeting you. I am dedicated to helping clients build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and achieve personal growth. I utilize many different modalities to help people achieve their personal therapy goals, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Play Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
I am currently a Doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Fielding Graduate University. I also have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Guelph and a Master’s degree from York University. I have valuable experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across various settings, such as Family First Play Therapy Inc., Homewood Health Centre, and on the Mental Health Support Team with the York Regional Police. I have also spent many years as a Crisis Intervention Counsellor in York region, Simcoe County, and Toronto.
