Biography: Hailey is a Registered Social Worker with over 5 years of experience supporting a diverse range of people with their mental health. Hailey provides counselling to children, adolescents, and young adults using a variety of treatment approaches including CBT, mindfulness, narrative, solution-focused, and ACT. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Dalhousie University and is in the process of completing her Master of Social Work with the University of Victoria.
Hailey works with individuals experiencing an array of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, family and peer conflict, challenging life transitions, grief and loss, identity-related concerns, and more. She takes an eclectic approach to therapy and modifies treatment plans to honor each person’s individuality and every family’s unique dynamic. Hailey aims to create a collaborative relationship built on trust, respect, and understanding. She works alongside her clients to establish goals and a plan to achieve them in hopes of creating meaningful and sustainable change. Hailey always approaches her work from an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and client-centered lens.
