Biography: Julia holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at York University. She has experience working with clients in university and hospital settings, focusing on the treatment of anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, emotion regulation difficulties, relationship difficulties, stress, and existential problems.
Julia’s therapy style is client-centered, warm, compassionate, and empathic. She listens carefully to her clients, works with clients on establishing a therapeutic alliance, collaborates with clients on setting goals for treatment, and supports them on their journey towards achieving those goals in therapy. Julia uses an eclectic approach to therapy that integrates different evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivation Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness. She is passionate about helping people overcome their problems and achieve their full potential.
