Biography: Nadia Prando is a therapist with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology completed in Brazil. She has extensive training in Pregnancy, Maternity, parent-child attachment, Children’s development, and Family relationships. She provides services in English and Portuguese.
She has more than 10 years of experience treating adults, teenagers, and families through individual therapy or group therapy. She worked many years at an NGO offering support for women living in high vulnerability. Ms. Prando is always looking to understand each client’s needs in order to create an individualized plan of action to support them. She believes in helping clients create awareness of themselves as a way to decrease their suffering and change their life perspectives.
Ms Prando utilizes evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for clients suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) to help families and couples. She also practices Mindfulness, Self-Compassion, and Play Therapy for children.
